JSC “MAGE” MUSEUM

GENERAL INFORMATION

The corporate museum of the company JSC “MAGE” was opened on December 5, 2024 after the capital renovation of the museum of the period of the 80-ies – 00-ies.

The museum is located on the 4th floor of the company's head office in the city of Murmansk and occupies an area of 62 sq.m. The average attendance of the museum per month is about 60 people. Individual or group visits are carried out by appointment. The museum allows to receive groups up to 15 people.

Museum Exposition 

First Hall

The first hall features:

• The history of the company's establishment;
• The main achievements and events from 1972 to the present day;
• Information about the company's leadership;
• Photo/video materials from the company's archive;
• Artifacts and equipment from the Soviet and Russian periods of activity;
• Visualization of marine seismic exploration techniques.

Second Hall

The second hall features an exhibition dedicated to the company's current operations:

• Models of research vessels;
• Models of patented Russian equipment;
• The central layout demonstrates the types of marine services provided by JSC “MAGE”;
• Information about high-latitude expeditions;
• An overview map of the geography of operations.

The hall also features interactive content where visitors can test their skills as a ship captain during a marine production operation.

Events and educational programs

The museum offers guided tours and career guidance activities for: 

• Children from the “Laplandia” Center for Additional Education;
• Students from city schools;
• Students from the Arctic University. 

The interactive game "Captain's Bridge" is particularly popular.
