Geological mapping

JSC MAGE has many years of successful experience in detailed geological mapping, compiling maps and diagrams of the geological content of the shelves of the northern seas, and preparing sheets for publication of the 1:1,000,000 scale State Geological Map of Russia. JSC MAGE has also participated in the creation of seamless multi-scale geological maps, which are updated through monitoring.
These sets contain integrated information on the regional geology of shelf sedimentary basins, the distribution and forecast of mineral resources, and the current state of the Arctic seas environment. They are accompanied by a geophysical framework and a structured database of primary and derived data.

Digital maps represent a "living," operational geographic information system that integrates cartographic materials and source databases and serves as a multifunctional scientific and informational basis for all forms of subsoil use: comparative assessment and selection of license areas, development of forecast and prospective resources, monitoring of the marine environment and ecosystems, and are also widely used for scientific research and educational purposes.
For the entire period of work, 24 sets, consisting of 43 sheets covering an area of over 2 million square kilometers, have been published.
