Differential Shipboard Magnetic and Gravity Measurements

    

      Specialists of JSC “MAGE” use the following instruments in order to perform differential shipboard magnetic and gravity measurements:

                     Gravimeters “Chekan”

   

 

  • Gravimeters: “Chekan”, Russia.

Instrumental error (resolution) of the gravimeter: 0,1 – 0,3 Mgal

  • Magnetometers: “SeaSpy”, Canada.

Instrumental error (resolution) of the magnetometer: 0,02 nTl

 

     JSC “MAGE” performs shipboard magnetometer survey to a precision of 5,0 nTl and gravity survey to a precision of 2 Mgal.
