EAGE 2010 Report

MAGE would like to thank all visitors of our stand at the 2010 EAGE Conference & Exhibition in Barcelona. The annual EAGE conference is the ideal place to meet with existing, new and potential clients and partners. The large quantity of meetings and presentations proves these better than anything else. Offers review for new exploration projects in 2011

In Murmansk in the hall of JSC "MAGE" from 11 till 13 August was held the conference to review offers for new exploration projects on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation and in the World Ocean for the reproduction of the mineral resource base of hydrocarbons in 2011. In the conference was taken part representatives of Federal Agency for Subsurface Management and Department "Morgeo", the research institutes experts of "VNIGNI", "VNIIOkeangeologia", "VNIGRI" and "VNIIGeosystem", as well as the industrial organizations specialists of "MAGE", "SMNG", "Yuzhmorgeologiya", "SEVMORGEO", "DMNG", "AMNGR", "PMGRE", "Soyuzmorgeo", "GeoServis" and etc. In total were submitted 29 offers from 12 geological organizations. In consequence of reviews and discussions by experts were selected numbers of priority areas of the continental Russia shelf, the work on which will be included to the government order projects lists in 2011. The list also included the thematic nature objects, aimed at the abstraction of available geosciences data, carrying out of the oil-and-gas geological zonation and the assessment of the Arctic seas hydrocarbon potential.
